Jen's supervisory experiences include being a department head, director of student support services and middle school head.

Management Skills for New Leaders

Partner together to extend leadership programs, offering a summer intensive to view on your own time with Brooke Carroll  and Jen, two year-long cohorts.  

This professional development course will facilitate growth in educational leader’s skills and abilities in managing their work, the people they supervise, and themselves.

 

We offer:

  • Summer Leadership Prep (July-August)

  • Management Skills for New and Emerging Leaders (year-long)

  • Advanced Management Skills for New and Emerging Leaders (year-long)

  • Supervisory Skills for New and Emerging Leaders (year-long)

 

A summertime "prep-for-the-year" intensive for Leaders

This intensive course will help leaders prepare for the year by evaluating their leadership styles and goals, addressing the community culture they would like to create, and planning for the year to ensure success.  Participants will conclude the summer with specific plans for how they will continue their growth as leaders, establish and maintain a positive work community, and maintain their focus on growth and positivity throughout the year.

 

Management Skills for New and Emerging Leaders

A year-long professional development program 

This course will facilitate growth in new and emerging leaders' skills and abilities in managing their work, time, expectations, and relationships.

Program Offerings:

  • Seven workshops provided through a webinar

  • Personalized coaching sessions throughout the year

  • Digital libraries and workbooks for each module

  • Connection, collaboration, and support from a group of professionals in similar career stages


Participants will conclude the year with specific work and time management strategies, communication tools, and confidence in their abilities. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion and recommendations for professional profiles.

Supervisory Skills for New and Emerging Leaders

A year-long professional development program 

This course will focus on developing the specific skills needed for supervising others. Topics will address hiring, supporting, evaluating, delegating to, and separating from supervisees.
